Seeing a need for computers by local low-income students and families in 2010, 2nd Chance Computers was formed (originally called ReBoot Modesto). Our fiscal agent is Jesus Our Savior Anglican Church in Modesto. As of 2024, our organization has distributed over 18,000 computers to students and families.

Our History
Our focus is on distributing free computers to low income students and families in the City of Modesto and Stanislaus County area. Students and families sign an Honorary Agreement that they will not sell the computer for 6 months and they will do 6 hours or community service in exchange for receiving the computer.
